  Research Officer, Tanzania Fisheries Research Institute (TAFIRI), Kigoma center.
Supervising junior scientist and lab technician, ensuring data at the fish landing station are correctly collected, analyzed and stored in databases. Setting up lab experiment and conducting water quality analysis. Daily to daily office management.

 

 
 

November 2003 - August 2004

 

  Special Habitat Mapping at Lake Victoria, this project was funded by the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project (LVEMP) designed to map breeding and spawning habitat for fish and to suggest management strategies.

  Water cobra filming (Bouilengerina annulata stormsi), this was done in collaboration with the National Geographic Channel (USA) at Lake Tanganyika (Kigoma Bay).

 

 
 

July - August 2003

 

  In Praise of Comparing Differences, a project designed to compare brain and morphological size, of eight different species of Lake Tanganyika cichlids with their habitat complexity. Place Kigoma Bay- Lake Tanganyika.

  Special project for mangrove conservation, an experimental approach to investigate the mass mortality of the mangrove Heritiera littoralis in the Rufiji delta, sponsored by the University of Dar es Salaam.
